What do you do at SADSC? I am a Coach and currently the chair of the club.

Why did you volunteer? My children were members of the club and they were asking for help. I also thought it was about time I gave something back to the community that I have grown up in.

What is your real occupation?  I am a company Director that designs structures for the live event industry. 

What do you like doing otherwise?  Dragging the kids off into the mountains much to their annoyance!

What do you do at SADSC? I am  a Swim Teacher

Where did you learn to swim?  SADSC from the age of 5

What do you do to earn the pennies?  I am the Deputy Head at a local school.

Havnt you had enough of kids by the end of the day?  Propably but my son is at teh club and I am here anyway..lol!

Why did you volunteer to be a coach at SADSC?   I learnt to swim with SADSC and its great to do teh same for others.

What do you doing at SADSC? I am volunteer coach

Why did you volunteer at SADSC?  I wanted to help out the club that I owe so much to.

So you started you career at SADSC? It was this club that opened the door to a 30 year career.

Qualified coach?  Yes, I am a level 3 Swim England Coach and teacher along with previously being a wetside pool manager.

Name? Sam Thompson-Perry

What do you do at SADSC? I'm the Head Coach at SADSC

Where did you learn to swim?  I learnt and carried on swimming at Cheadle from the age of 5.

Did you enjoy Cheadle? Yeah, I was swimming alot until the age of 19  in national championships. representing English Schools and the County until injury forced me to stop.

What do you do to put food on the table?  I’m a Patrão (general manager) at a well known chicken shop so there is food on every table !

Why did you think about helping out at the club?  The Club asked for volunteers and swimming is one of my favourite forms of excersice so i thought why not.

Why SADSC?  My daughter is in the club and she really enjoys everyone about it so its nice to help out.

What do you normally do to fill up your day time?  I am a qualified Primary School Teacher, so that keeps me pretty busy. When I am not ay school I love swiiming ofc, and walking.

What do you do at SADSC? I am a swim teacher and have had my level 2 qualification for over 20 years.

Why did you volunteer? I come from a family of swimmers an previously dvolunteered at SADSC. Now my 2 children are older and back at SADSC I have started back volunteering

Can you swim?  In my younger days I swam with COSACSS and then APEX.

What is your real occupation?      My normal day job is as a Business Manager for a well known High Street Bank.

What do you do at SADSC? I am a poolside helper.

Why did you volunteer?  The club asked for help poolside and my Daughter and Son already swim at the club so it seemed obvious to offer.

What do you do at SADSC? I am a Swim Teacher

How did you come to volunteer? I swam at SADSC, then became a junior committee member and wanted to carry on so SADSC paid for my Level 1 teaching as part of there training programme.

What do you do outside of the club? I am at University studying very hard ... :) and I also have a part time job as a Lifeguard and duty manager at the Leisure Centre

How did you come to volunteer? I swam at SADSC, and I was studying physical Education and I wanted to give something back to the club.
